SillyCar Design handled the design and layout for last years’ Playbill for Willy Wonka . We were honored to be asked to do it again this year for Launching Pad Productions Shrek The Musical. This has been a tremendous organization for us to get involved with. Just getting to meet the families and local businesses that support this great production makes it all worth it. This year SillyCar Design designed not only the text for the playbill, but the vast majority of the ads since most of the donors and advertisers chose not to supply their own ads. The cover design was created by Abbey Frederick (a former Launching Pad student) and the printing was handled by Dean Snyder of Walter Snyder Printer. Joel is particularly proud that his two nephews Nick and Brady will be in this production together and that Grace (even though now in the High School) still took time to help out a bunch with behind the scenes stuff. He is also super proud that Melissa was able to help so much with costumes this year and have some great fun with all the people in this great production. As we post this to our portfolio, opening day is tomorrow (Feb, 2nd 2018) and we cannot wait to see another great Launching Pad Production! Joe Shaver and all the volunteers, donors, students and families are sure to make this another year to remember for all involved in this Ballston Spa Middle School experience!
